Bermagui is on the far south coast of NSW. It is known for its fishing, especially marlin & tuna, being close to the continental shelf. It is surrounded by national parks with pristine beaches providing uncrowded surfing opportunities.
Local surf breaks include Camel Rock & Cuttagee Beach & for the bodyboarders Beares Beach has some gnarly breaks. Safe swimming beaches are at Horseshoe Bay, & Bruce Steer pool & Mooreheads Beach/The Rock Wall is a great place for learning to surf.
